A photograph I like

This is a photograph of my great-grandma, I took it three years ago on her terrace. I really like this photo because it shows her in her natural habitat, which is outside, close to nature and sunbathing, this is her day-to-day life. She loves the sun, and she doesn't care about UV rays or sunburns or wrinkles, after all she's 101 years old, still very healthy and has no diseases, so I guess she knows her business.

She enjoys her time here eating fruits, talking (a lot) with the people who visit her and reading over and over again a book that I lent her (now "gave her" because she kept it forever haha) about herbs, spices and natural remedies.

She has a very strong character, always has something to say. I think it is because she has a lot of experiences and knowledge that she wants to share before it gets lost. She's also a very positive, and vital person. I wish I had half the strength that she has, it’s like a force of nature on her own.

I don’t  know if it shows in the photo, but next to her there is a lemon tree, (it is one of my favorite trees, and of course one of my favorite fruits) . Once I read that this tree gives you a long life, I think it is true.

Maybe that's the secret to eternal life. Anyway, I love this photo, because it fills me with positive energy, and it reminds me that i should spend more time in nature and enjoy simple things.
