If I had the opportunity to visit a foreign country, I would choose South Korea. The main reason is that, like many other Asian countries, the old coexists with the new, in a very special way. In addition, the language is very pleasant to listen to, it is much "softer" than -for example- Chinese. Even visually, I find it pretty.

I would love to visit the theaters, museums, Buddhist temples, the tea houses and have the chance to taste the real kimchi.

But above all I would love to visit Jeju Island. A touristy spot that I found thanks to a Netflix variety show (which I watched like 3 times).

The sunrises and sunsets of the beaches and the beautiful aesthetics of the stone and wooden houses made me fall in love.

The images of Hallasan Mountain, the highest peak in South Korea, made me want to hike to its top. And the variety of products of the jeju market motivated me to want to discover new flavors.

I think South Korea is a perfect place to spend a family vacation and experience a culture very different from our own.
