My future job is somewhat uncertain at the moment, like for many other people related to the area of the arts. Certainty and job stability is a challenge. Right now if I have to think of a job I would like to do would be something related to my career, theatrical design. That is to say, designing scenery, lighting and costumes, for theater or any other artistic platform such as movies, or even television. The important thing for me is that whatever my future job is, it is related to the arts and allows me to continue developing my skills and continue learning about different subjects. One of the things that I like about my career is that I can learn from different jobs and different persons. A play or performance can refer to any topic or concept and that allows me to explore disciplines as different and interesting as science, politics, philosophy. Everything can be studied and then expressed through the perspective of theatrical design. Another thing that is important for me is the process of creating a project, and that involves people and discussion of ideas, although I enjoy creating things on my own, the experience of working in a team is very special, particularly the moment when all the pieces that have been worked separately come together and become the work of art, the product. thats a very special moment or me. So whatever future work I may have, I hope it will involve a great team of people and the space of freedom that artists need to transmute their object of interest into something new and captivating, so that other people can enjoy and appreciate it.
